Salary: $320,000 - $405,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) for individual and business customers.
• Implement access control systems to grant, scope, and revoke access to advanced AI capabilities based on approved use cases.
• Build infrastructure to configure safety systems and detection thresholds on a per-customer basis.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, and internal tooling to detect and remediate misuse or account takeovers.
• Integrate third-party identity verification and data enrichment vendors.
• Collaborate with policy, threat intelligence, and go-to-market teams to inform access decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
• Experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to be in one of the US offices at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale.
• Background in KYC/KYB workflows, trust and safety, or fraud/abuse detection.
• Experience responding to credential compromise or account takeover.
