Salary: $213,000 - $257,000 a year

What you will do
- Manage all project phases from pre-construction and bidding to construction and close-out for K-12 projects.
- Review pre-construction documents and provide designer feedback to ensure alignment with standards.
- Prepare progress reports for upper management and coordinate with public agencies for regulatory compliance.
- Monitor monthly budgets, take corrective actions, and manage financial documentation.
- Oversee daily contractor activities, evaluate submittals, and negotiate change order proposals.
- Administer Professional Service Agreements with architects and manage the procurement of fixtures and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or a CCM credential).
- Minimum 17 years of professional experience in construction or project management of commercial or public/educational facilities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing programs with project values exceeding $50M.
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in educational facility construction or public works.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in California (Los Angeles area).
Nice to have
- PMP, CCM, or related professional certifications.
- Experience with Design Build, BIM, LEED, or CHPS.
- Familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes.
- Licensed Architect (California Architectural Board) or Professional Engineer (California State Board).
