What you will do

• Lead product changes from discovery and technical specification through to delivery, release, and measurement.
• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and user interfaces using Python, Django, React, and TypeScript.
• Implement agentic coding workflows using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to accelerate spec-driven development.
• Design scalable data models and optimize PostgreSQL queries to handle high-volume property operations.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape user experiences and define success metrics.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical design discussions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building B2B SaaS products.
• Production experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript.
• Must be based in London and hold the right to work in the UK.
• Strong proficiency with agentic coding tools and a spec-driven development approach.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and production reliability.
• Ability to transform ambiguous product ideas into detailed technical specifications and pragmatic delivery plans.
