Location: Hybrid in Serbia (2 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Develop platform APIs for billing, customer details, and product configuration.
• Contribute to Core Platform Systems, including IAM Centre and Product Delivery.
• Create shared services and libraries to be used across all engineering teams.
• Implement security-hardened and efficient solutions following industry best practices.
• Maintain legacy PHP and Go services with a focus on stability, security, and minor features.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in backend development.
• 1+ year of experience with Go (commercial or non-commercial).
• Solid understanding of API design, modularity, testing, and error handling.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and fundamental data-modelling concepts.
• Ability to write maintainable unit tests for critical paths.
• Must be based in Serbia for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Yii2 or Symfony.
• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Understanding of distributed-systems patterns.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting mindset for resolving production issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident handling.
• Experience using AI tools and agents to speed up development.
