What you will do

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior PHP Engineers.
• Drive architectural strategy and guide technical decision-making for scalable backend systems.
• Optimize high-throughput MySQL databases and analytical integrations using ClickHouse.
• Design and implement event-driven communication patterns using Apache Kafka.
• Ensure production reliability through monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA to align engineering initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead managing PHP engineering teams.
• 6+ years of commercial PHP development experience (PHP 8.x).
• Deep expertise in Symfony and/or Laravel frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL performance tuning, indexing, and concurrency.
• Strong practical experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
