TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Angular/TypeScript): Building and maintaining core services for a fraud prevention platform with an accent on frontend component ownership and backend-for-frontend development. Focus on designing scalable SPA architectures, integrating with distributed data layers, and leveraging AI-assisted workflows to ensure system performance and reliability.
Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid/Remote flexibility available).
Salary: €70,000–€80,000 per year.

What you will do
- Design and maintain modern SPAs using Angular and TypeScript.
- Develop and extend the backend-for-frontend layer using Node.js (NestJS/Hono).
- Manage data integration with MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Deploy and monitor services within a Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product features and system architecture.
- Write clean, tested code and participate in peer code reviews.
Requirements
- English: C1+ fluency required for daily asynchronous communication.
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Angular.
- Solid background in backend development using Node.js.
- Experience with databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and Kubernetes.
- Commitment to clean code, documentation, and testing practices.
- Ability to think in systems and contribute to architectural decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed architectures and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with RxJS, NgRx, Kafka, GraphQL, or tRPC.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks like Vitest and Playwright.
