What you will do

• Design A/B tests and define success metrics for recommendation experiments.
• Investigate model and system behavior, including ranking quality and feedback effects.
• Build dashboards, data models, and self-service tooling for recommendation health monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to scope analytical questions and clarify objectives.
• Proactively surface insights regarding metric drifts, user segments, and potential testing opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in Stockholm and work from the office
• 5+ years of experience in an analytics or data science role.
• Direct experience with recommendation, search, ranking, or large-scale ML-driven products.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets like BigQuery.
• Fluency in Python for data analysis.
• Deep understanding of advanced statistics and experimentation traps.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with recommender systems internals like retrieval and candidate generation.
• Exposure to bandits, off-policy evaluation, or causal inference.
• Experience building data models and dashboards using dbt or Looker.
