Biomolecule Application Specialist

Location: China; fully remote. Frequent travel within China and occasional travel to APAC, the UK, and the US are required.

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales application support for the Large Molecule portfolio across China.
• Deliver remote and on-site demonstrations, workflow consultations, training, installation assistance, and troubleshooting.
• Advise customers on chromatography media selection, column usage, method development, and downstream purification optimisation.
• Partner with Sales on opportunity development, strategic account growth, and customer projects.
• Coordinate with APAC application and product teams on joint projects.
• Create and present application notes, posters, presentations, workflow guides, seminars, workshops, and conference content in English and Chinese.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of protein purification, chromatography principles, and media or sorbent technologies.
• Hands-on discovery-lab experience purifying plasmid DNA, antibodies, and proteins.
• Experience in application support, process development, or technical sales in biopharma or CDMO environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into practical customer solutions.
• Fluent Chinese and business-level English are required.
