Software Engineer (Autonomous)

What you will do

• Develop core human-assistance tools for autonomous driving systems.
• Improve the safety and efficiency of autonomous fleet operations.
• Design and implement low-latency data streaming pipelines between autonomous vehicles and remote operators over 5G networks.
• Contribute to system and safety design for the Autonomous Drive software stack.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead, Product Manager, and other teams across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong foundation in software design, version control, automated testing, software development lifecycle, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems.
• Good understanding of IPv4, IPv6, UDP, TCP, TLS, and HTTP.
• Curiosity, self-direction, and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
• Fluent English communication and willingness to work on-site in Gothenburg.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust or Golang.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, including Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with gRPC or similar RPC frameworks.
• Experience developing safety-critical and real-time systems.
