What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines and curated data models aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Develop clean, performant Power BI models and reports using best-practice DAX and visual storytelling.
• Profile, validate, and reconcile source data while embedding quality rules and monitoring.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clear technical requirements and data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data products are reliable, documented, and self-service ready.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Hands-on experience designing data models and semantic layers for analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (window functions, set-based logic) and Power BI development.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
• Ability to facilitate discovery sessions and reconcile conflicting stakeholder requirements.
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines, job orchestration, and version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD for Power BI or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Marketo.
• Background in financial, operational, or regulated settings.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., DP-900, PL-300, AZ-900).
