What you will do

• Define end-to-end architecture for robotics perception, including sensor selection and data pipelines.
• Design modular solutions integrating CV, sensor fusion, and AI/ML across edge and cloud environments.
• Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and technology decisions.
• Establish AI/ML strategies for model selection and data lifecycle management.
• Integrate perception components with navigation, manipulation, and planning systems.
• Lead engineering teams through design reviews and architectural standards enforcement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development in C/C++ and Python, with 4+ years in lead or architect roles.
• Hands-on expertise in AI-based robotics perception and computer vision in production environments.
• Proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, ROS/ROS2, and Point Cloud/RGB-D processing.
• Experience with SLAM, localization, mapping, and motion planning (e.g., MoveIt).
• Practical knowledge of simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Blender, or Genesis.
• Candidate must be based in Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI and CV models using MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong mathematical foundation for implementing efficient algorithms.
