What you will do

• Lead new product introductions, product transfers, and continuous improvement of existing production lines.
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation.
• Develop and execute validation strategies including IQ, OQ, PQ, and test method validations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the best utilization of equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with strict industry regulations.
• Inspect machinery performance and initiate corrective actions to resolve deficiencies.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (NFQ Level 8) with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Manufacturing engineering experience specifically within the medical device industry.
• Strong expertise in Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and CAPAs.
• Knowledge of polymer processing, raw materials, and quality control techniques.
• Proficiency in risk management methodologies such as PFMEA, RCA, and DMAIC.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Athlone, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification.
• Project Management qualification or experience.
