What you will do

• Lead and mentor junior and intermediate developers across 1–2 teams through 1:1s and Growth Talks.
• Conduct performance reviews, assign ratings, and manage the promotion process for direct reports.
• Own the technical direction for your sub-domain, driving architecture decisions and design reviews.
• Perform meaningful code reviews to raise the technical bar and help developers level up.
• Contribute hands-on to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Area Tech Leads and Principal Engineers to shape overall technical direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with depth in at least one backend or frontend stack.
• Experience mentoring, leading, or coaching other developers.
• Must be based in Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with structured feedback frameworks or performance review processes.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working.
