TL;DR

Big Data Engineer (Internship): Developing functional prototypes and analytical solutions within the Spotfire ecosystem with an accent on AI integration and data visualization. Focus on building Spotfire Mods using JavaScript/TypeScript and exploring Generative AI capabilities to automate analytical tasks.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Tres Cantos/Madrid, Spain. Hybrid work model with 8 weeks of remote work per year outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Apply AI techniques to data analysis and BI tools.
• Research trends in Generative AI and LLMs for advanced analytics.
• Design and develop functional prototypes to improve user interaction with data.
• Develop and evolve Spotfire Mods and Action Mods using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Perform scripting and process automation within the Spotfire ecosystem.
• Participate in proof-of-concept projects to automate analytical tasks.

Requirements

• Must be an engineering student.
• Strong knowledge of programming and web development.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Interest in generative AI and data analysis.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of React
• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with Spotfire
• Experience with LLM APIs and SQL
