Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, Canada (2-3 days onsite required)

Salary: C$159,000 – C$203,500 per year

What you will do

• Optimize cross-pipeline efficiency and establish optimized methodologies in collaboration with department leads.
• Explore emerging technologies, including AI and Machine Learning, to develop future-proof studio workflows.
• Oversee pipeline ticket queues and collaborate with engineering to resolve critical technical issues.
• Project and manage show render and storage needs to prevent production bottlenecks.
• Partner with VFX Supervisors and Producers to align creative demands with bidding and scope.
• Mentor junior and mid-level talent, fostering an inclusive and empowering growth environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional VFX experience (or 10+ years in lieu of a degree).
• Deep expertise in both proprietary and third-party VFX pipelines and software.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks under shifting production demands.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Vancouver, Canada.
