What you will do

• Lead roto/paint and QC workflows across multiple productions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage external vendors, providing clear direction, feedback, and technical guidance.
• Partner with producers and supervisors to assess outsourcing needs and define bidding strategies.
• Review vendor deliveries and internal work to ensure they meet show standards before integration.
• Collaborate with CG/VFX Supervisors to uphold creative intent and technical integrity.
• Provide hands-on roto/paint support when required due to schedule pressure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a VFX studio environment.
• Strong background in compositing and/or roto/paint.
• Advanced proficiency in Nuke, Silhouette, and Mocha.
• Previous experience in a Lead, Senior, or Supervisory role.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Excellent artistic eye with strong attention to detail across shots and sequences.
