What you will do

• Own the enterprise data governance framework, including certification workflows, lineage tracking, and access control enforcement.
• Lead the design of semantic data models to support AI features like Tableau Pulse and Einstein Copilot.
• Develop and manage optimized data sources, star schemas, and Virtual Connections for enterprise-wide reporting.
• Diagnose and tune dashboard performance using Tableau Performance Recorder and Admin Insights.
• Automate governance, auditing, and content migration tasks using Tableau REST and Metadata APIs.
• Collaborate with data engineering to monitor pipeline health and ensure data quality across the ecosystem.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in BI or data architecture, with 3+ years specifically in Tableau.
• Must be based in the US; we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Cloud, including governance, security, and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL skills, preferably with Amazon Redshift.
• Experience with Tableau REST API, Metadata API, and Python for automation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and semantic layer design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce integrations.
• Familiarity with VizQL Data Service and Tableau Server Client (TSC) library.
• Prior experience in a high-growth, data-driven organization.
