TL;DR

Product Technical Support Specialist (Medtech): Providing critical technical guidance and support for cardiac management devices to patients and medical professionals with an accent on troubleshooting complex system issues and ensuring patient safety. Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA or Remote (US only)

Salary: $19.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Analyze and diagnose technical issues for patients and clinicians using troubleshooting techniques.
  • Provide critical guidance during time-sensitive situations to ensure patient safety.
  • Document customer interactions and report product deficiencies in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate users on proper product maintenance and usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and suggest product improvements.
  • Provide 24/7 back-up support for patient and clinician inquiries.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • Availability to work 24/7 shifts, including at least one weekend day
  • Training period requires M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET availability for 8-10 weeks
  • Proven experience in product support or a customer-facing role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting complex systems

Nice to have

  • Experience in the medical, safety, or life-saving products industry
  • Experience with CRM systems and knowledge bases
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Medical or clinical background
