What you will do

• Design and maintain mainframe system automation to ensure stability and availability.
• Administer automation policies and custom routines for IBM Z and AIOps.
• Monitor system events and automate incident detection and recovery processes.
• Diagnose and resolve system-related issues following Change and Incident Management protocols.
• Collaborate with operations and application teams to improve automation coverage.
• Participate in modernization initiatives to enhance operational maturity and productivity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Strong experience with IBM Z/Mainframe environments.
• Hands-on experience with system automation products like SA z/OS, OPS/MVS, or BMC MainView.
• Solid knowledge of z/OS system internals, JES, and subsystem interactions.
• Working knowledge of ISPF, TSO, JCL, GDPS, Netview, and REXX.
• Familiarity with Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
