What you will do

• Lead the entire design lifecycle from vulnerability assessments to final construction schematics.
• Perform critical engineering calculations for video storage, network bandwidth, and power load modeling.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and structural engineering teams to ensure infrastructure alignment.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies for technical feasibility and client ROI.
• Apply cybersecurity principles to harden physical security systems against digital threats.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers on best practices and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in enterprise-grade physical security systems.
• Expert knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection hardware/software.
• Proficiency in design tools including Bluebeam, Revit/BIM, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and project-level cost estimating.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CPP, PSP, or RCDD.
• Experience designing security for Data Centers or industrial facilities.
• Proven leadership experience in managing project design teams.
