What you will do

• Design and implement scalable RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL services.
• Integrate third-party APIs and databases to enhance internal application capabilities.
• Implement robust authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth and JWT.
• Monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and manage caching and load balancing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal and external API consumers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and able to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of API development experience, including 2+ years at a senior level.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Strong understanding of web protocols and architectural styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
