What you will do

• Lead and execute applied research projects end-to-end, from initial design to the communication of findings.
• Manage daily project operations, including budgeting, timelines, and staff coordination as a PI or project director.
• Design rigorous studies with aligned research questions, methodologies, and analytic plans.
• Oversee data collection and analysis using qualitative tools (e.g., NVivo) and quantitative tools (e.g., Stata, R, Python).
• Develop and contribute to proposals for federal, state, and foundation clients.
• Represent the organization in professional interactions with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics, Health Services Research, Public Policy, or related field with 3+ years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship available).
• Subject matter expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, or Marketplace financing and policy.
• Experience with quantitative analysis (Stata, R, Python) and/or qualitative methodologies (NVivo).
• Proven experience managing project teams and building strong client relationships.
• Experience working within contract research or evaluation organizations.
