TL;DR
Post Doctoral Research Associate in Law (Academic): Conducting interdisciplinary research on online harms and women's safety with an accent on grant bidding, publication, and knowledge exchange. Focus on building research culture, developing funding applications, and collaborating with the Centre for Protecting Women Online to inform law and policy.
Location: Must be based in the UK with a hybrid working pattern (1-2 days per week in the Milton Keynes office).
Salary: £38,784 – £46,049 per annum.

What you will do
- Build and support the Centre’s research culture through collaborative initiatives.
- Initiate and contribute to innovative funding bids in partnership with other researchers.
- Support the development of funding applications, including literature reviews and impact planning.
- Produce high-quality research outputs, including presentations and academic publications.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange activities and maintain academic networks.
- Assist in the delivery of the University’s research and knowledge exchange strategy.
Requirements
- Completed PhD in Law or a related field (or submitted and awaiting viva).
- Expertise in legal research methods and empirical research.
- Knowledge of critical and feminist approaches to gendered violence.
- Familiarity with research on online environments and social media.
- Proven potential for securing external research funding.
- Experience with data management and research software such as NVivo, SPSS, or Qualtrics.
Nice to have
- Experience working with external organizations from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in cross-disciplinary research teams.
- Previous experience in PhD supervision.
