Junior Engineer (.NET)

TL;DR

Junior Engineer (.NET): Developing and maintaining backend services for Live Service infrastructure with an accent on cloud deployment and database schema design. Focus on delivering new features, monitoring production services via Grafana, and implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform.

Location: Must be based in the UK (Brighton office). Remote and hybrid options are available only for candidates located in the UK. Valid UK work Visa is required.

What you will do

• Develop new features and resolve bugs in existing .NET backend services.
• Create new services to support feature requirements from game client teams.
• Design and implement database schemas for live services.
• Monitor production services using Grafana and other tools.
• Expand the test suite including Unit, Integration, and Load tests.
• Maintain internal service documentation and provide general web development support.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Must possess a valid UK work Visa.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Docker and Terraform.
• Experience with Grafana.
• Background in game development.
