What you will do
- Match and validate invoices against purchase order data and process disbursement requests, resolving exceptions with stakeholders.
- Prepare and process electronic payments and handle internal/external invoice and payment queries.
- Verify vendor/customer accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Perform administrative accounting tasks (word processing, mail processing, scanning, copying, shredding) and support internal users on AP/AR processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies while taking ownership of assigned work.
- Assist during backlog or urgent situations and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer focus.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to change.
- Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.
- Ability to research and resolve exception/problem invoices and payments with minimal supervision.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or accounts payable processes.
