What you will do

• Define and document the architecture of leading-edge modems based on functional specifications.
• Implement DSP algorithms, measurement/calibration procedures, and performance metrics.
• Develop functions in Matlab, C++, and CatapultC according to coding standards.
• Lead code and document review meetings and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, electro-optics, and systems teams.
• Coordinate lab integration and drive feature implementation using standard lab equipment.

Requirements

• Post-graduate degree in Physics or Engineering with a focus on digital hardware, communication, or control systems.
• 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, and verification of DSP algorithms for ASIC or FPGA.
• Proficiency in Matlab, C, and C++ within Linux environments.
• Experience with automated RTL code generation from high-level system design languages like CatapultC.
• Ability to operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers.
• Strong ability to translate complex system requirements into discrete signal processing features.

Nice to have

• Programming skills in Verilog and HTML.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Confluence, Jira, and Eclipse.
