Salary: $88,100–$134,400 base per year

What you will do

  • Own ProteinXI territory strategy and revenue targets, including pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity tracking in Salesforce.
  • Develop and execute territory plans spanning existing MSD accounts and new greenfield Biopharma and CRO accounts.
  • Lead complex deal strategy, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations through close, coordinating discovery and translational stakeholders.
  • Position ProteinXI’s NGS-based high-plex proteomics differentiation versus competitive technologies (mass spectrometry, affinity-based platforms, multiplex immunoassays).
  • Coordinate field resources (Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales Account Managers) and define engagement models per opportunity.
  • Support early access and launch execution, provide Voice-of-Customer input to Product Management and Marketing, and represent ProteinXI at conferences and customer events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (advanced degree strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, scientific sales, or hybrid commercial roles within life sciences.
  • Experience selling platforms/workflows involving NGS, multi-omics, proteomics, or advanced discovery tools (strongly preferred).
  • Prior experience working alongside Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales teams (required).
  • Ability to travel up to 60% (including overnight stays) and work outside normal business hours as needed.
