Salary: USD 105,000 - USD 145,000 (yearly)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software systems and features as a Go and/or Python specialist for video content delivery at scale.
• Ensure code and configuration changes follow peer review practices and are deployed via CI/CD pipelines.
• Write design documents and collaborate through design and code reviews with engineers and stakeholders.
• Partner with SRE to deliver reliable, resilient, scalable systems with strong performance.
• Use observability and advanced analytics to surface issues, diagnose problems, and drive improvements.
• Manage multiple priorities to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of software development experience with expertise in Go and/or Python.
• Experience deploying software to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) using containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with software repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Experience applying SRE practices for scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly via design documents, text, voice, and code.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or production exposure to CDNs for streaming media delivery.
• Experience using AI tooling for code creation, reviews, and testing workflows.
