What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to embed security into the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle on AWS.
• Guide the secure development of cloud-native applications, APIs, and backend services using Python, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Integrate security, testing, and automation controls into CI/CD pipelines while maintaining developer experience.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and cloud automation capabilities.
• Drive the adoption of engineering guardrails and reusable security patterns across the engineering estate.
• Support the investigation, triage, and remediation of application and platform vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory (no sponsorship available).
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and secure development principles.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using Python, JavaScript, or PHP in AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, cloud automation, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with containerized applications and distributed systems.
• Ability to investigate and remediate application and platform security issues.
