What you will do

• Lead the testing and commissioning workstream for civil works on the Scarborough Subway Extension.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team of Metrolinx staff, consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee contractor testing activities to ensure milestones are met without compromising safety or quality.
• Drive integration across civil works and systems to prevent bottlenecks.
• Validate test reports, commissioning certificates, and safety documentation prior to service trials.
• Coordinate the handover of civil assets to stakeholders including TTC and Metrolinx.

Requirements

• Significant experience in civil testing and commissioning on large-scale rapid transit projects.
• Extensive project management experience within the transit infrastructure sector.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage contractor performance.
• Strong knowledge of civil works principles related to rapid transit systems.
• Demonstrated success in managing competing objectives among diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with municipalities and utility providers.
