What you will do

• Perform penetration tests on network, application, platform, CICS, IMS, Db2, and z/OS-based systems.
• Create and deliver detailed penetration test reports and remediation strategies to clients.
• Research and develop innovative security testing techniques, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide pre-sales support and assist with scoping prospective security engagements.
• Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, presentations, and white papers.
• Act as a technical resource and mentor for internal team members.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in penetration testing, including network, web, or thick client applications.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS fundamentals including TSO, JCL, JES2, USS, and at least one ESM (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret).
• Proficiency with offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Programming experience in Assembler, C, C++, REXX, or Python.
• Experience securing or managing z/OS-based systems.
• Offensive security certifications such as PTAS, PTES, or OSCP.
