What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for the SMS connectivity layer within a distributed team.
• Build and optimize a high-throughput distributed platform focusing on latency and data integrity.
• Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to engineering standards.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests to maintain system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new platform features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the team's domain independently.

Requirements

• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Dropwizard, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud services, with a strong preference for AWS.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices across all phases of the SDLC.
• Readiness to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in energetic, small teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
