Location: Remote (Must be based in Poland)

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems from concept to deployment.
- Develop efficient and reliable backend services primarily using Java.
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliability of services in a cloud-native environment.
- Design and maintain complex databases, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency.
- Manage and implement multi-system integrations with high technical interdependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in rigorous code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.
- Advanced, deep-seated experience with Java and Spring development.
- Proven experience with queue infrastructure (Kafka/Rabbit), Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-integrated systems and frequent context switching.
- Must be based in Poland
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of security best practices in software development.
- Experience working on on-prem products.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
