Senior Java Developer

What you will do

• Maintain, manage, and develop the fintech platform with a focus on the backend system running on Java in AWS.
• Automate the loan assessment process to deliver a complete digital customer experience with fast feedback.
• Integrate third-party services for assessment checks.
• Implement approval/denial logic based on the company credit policy.
• Ensure compliance with AFM, DNB, and European privacy regulation (GDPR).

Requirements

• 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 11 or 17 preferred).
• Experience with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
• Knowledge of SOA and service integration (message brokers, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and design patterns.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• WFT Consumer Credit certification or willingness to obtain it.
