What you will do

• Develop and evolve test automation frameworks for native Android applications across multiple brands.
• Design and execute automated functional, UI, and performance tests to support the release pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects in a cross-functional environment.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement through CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations and maintain high quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong background in test automation for Android applications.
• Solid experience with Appium, Android automation tooling, and CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with network debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Proxyman.
• Ability to plan and execute tests across functional, UX, and performance dimensions.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Gradle or Bash for automation development.
• Familiarity with visual testing, API testing, or cloud device testing like BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab.
• Experience with GitLab or Bitbucket workflows.
• Knowledge of Android build variants, flavors, and modularized projects.
