What you will do

• Design and execute the strategy for performance testing and automation for the StorageGRID product.
• Analyze root causes of performance bottlenecks and implement system-level improvements.
• Develop and refine benchmarking tools and testing configurations.
• Build and maintain infrastructure support and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA, and deployment teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software/hardware performance analysis for enterprise storage protocols (SAN, NAS, or HTTP/S3).
• Proven expertise in Linux and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong automation skills using Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Experience leading performance test strategy, design, and documentation.
• Strong track record of delivering complex technical projects within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Must be based in Vancouver, Canada, to support a hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, Elastic/ELK, Go, or Java.
• Experience with benchmarking tools such as fio and iperf.
• Knowledge of AWS S3 APIs and enterprise server/switch/router hardware.
• Experience with Linux containers or VMWare.
