What you will do
- Design and execute the strategy for performance testing and automation for the StorageGRID product.
- Analyze root causes of performance bottlenecks and implement system-level improvements.
- Develop and refine benchmarking tools and testing configurations.
- Build and maintain infrastructure support and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA, and deployment teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software/hardware performance analysis for enterprise storage protocols (SAN, NAS, or HTTP/S3).
- Proven expertise in Linux and TCP/IP networking.
- Strong automation skills using Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Experience leading performance test strategy, design, and documentation.
- Strong track record of delivering complex technical projects within an Agile Scrum environment.
- Must be based in Vancouver, Canada, to support a hybrid working model.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, Elastic/ELK, Go, or Java.
- Experience with benchmarking tools such as fio and iperf.
- Knowledge of AWS S3 APIs and enterprise server/switch/router hardware.
- Experience with Linux containers or VMWare.
