What you will do

• Create polished, high-fidelity keyframe animations for characters and creatures.
• Collaborate with Animation Directors, Designers, and Technical Artists to ensure seamless integration into the final product.
• Contribute to the development of animation pipelines, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in motion capture direction, cleanup, and implementation.
• Iterate rapidly on animation assets based on team feedback and dailies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated ownership over significant animation features or sequences.
• Expert-level keyframe animation skills and deep understanding of character mechanics and performance capture data.
• Proven ability to self-manage tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have local working rights for Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with rigging, scripting (e.g., Python, MEL), or technical animation.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within an animation team.
