What you will do

• Manage full-process UNECE R155 (CSMS) and R156 (SUMS) vehicle type approval projects, including customer communication, document review, and on-site assessments.
• Interpret automotive cybersecurity regulations (UNECE R155/R156, ISO/SAE 21434, GB 44495) and provide compliance consulting for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Conduct vehicle cybersecurity architecture reviews and Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
• Compile certification, audit, and test reports in English and Chinese to meet EU WVTA requirements.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal laboratories to control project progress and resolve technical issues.
• Track global automotive cybersecurity regulation updates and provide pre-sales technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Systematic understanding of UNECE R155/R156, ISO/SAE 21434, GB 44495, and the WP.29 type approval system.
• 1-5 years of experience in automotive cybersecurity, specifically with CSMS/SUMS audits or TARA assessments.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing for technical communication and reporting.
• Knowledge of in-vehicle networks, software architecture, and common cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
• Ability to work in Shanghai and accept short-term business trips.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with R155/R156 certification, auditing, or test witnessing.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or ASPICE.
