What you will do

• Design and engineer novel cell lines, including iPSCs, tumor cell lines, immortalized cells, and primary cells.
• Generate stable engineered cell lines using lentiviral transduction and other viral vector systems.
• Design genetic constructs and mRNA for knock-in, knockout, reporter, stable-expression, and transient-expression strategies.
• Develop, optimize, and execute cell-based assays, including live-cell analysis with Incucyte.
• Design multi-parameter flow cytometry panels, perform FACS and single-cell cloning, and assess immune checkpoint receptor expression.
• Analyze experimental data and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry, or academic research.
• Hands-on experience generating cell lines with lentiviral vectors.
• Experience with construct design, mRNA design, viral-vector engineering, and transient mRNA-based expression.
• Strong flow cytometry experience, including panel design, cell sorting, and multi-parameter data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience engineering iPSCs and tumor cell lines.
• Working knowledge of immune checkpoint receptor biology.
• Experience with Incucyte, xCELLigence, and human or primary cell-based assays.
