What you will do

• Design and engineer novel cell lines in iPSCs, tumor cell lines, and primary cell types for allogeneic cell therapy.
• Generate stable engineered cell lines using lentiviral transduction and other viral vector systems.
• Design genetic constructs and mRNA for stable and transient gene expression, including knock-in and knockout strategies.
• Establish clonal engineered cell lines through cell sorting (FACS) and single-cell cloning.
• Develop and execute cell-based assays to characterize engineered cells, utilizing platforms like Incucyte.
• Design multi-parameter flow cytometry panels to phenotype cells and assess immune checkpoint receptor expression.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field with 5+ years of experience, OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with lentiviral cell line generation is required.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Boston, MA.
• Proficiency in construct design and mRNA design.
• In-depth flow cytometry expertise, including panel design and FACS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience engineering iPSCs and tumor cell lines.
• Working knowledge of immune checkpoint receptor biology.
• Experience with live-cell analysis platforms such as Incucyte and xCELLigence.
