What you will do

• Assemble and integrate effector hardware, controller electronics, firmware, and software into functioning systems.
• Plan, develop, and execute integration and test procedures at component, subsystem, and system levels.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts, fixtures, and environments.
• Troubleshoot integration and test issues across hardware, firmware, and embedded software.
• Support field integration, on-site testing, and customer demonstrations.
• Create and maintain I&T documentation and contribute to process refinements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in integration and test engineering or embedded systems.
• Strong hands-on prototype hardware skills (wiring, soldering, mechanical assembly).
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation, calibration, and data analysis.
• Experience with communication protocols such as MAVLink, CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Solid understanding of drone system architecture, propulsion, and control loops.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with drones, UAS platforms, PX4, or ArduPilot.
• Experience with HIL or SIL simulation environments for autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for control system modeling.
• Knowledge of RF systems and sensor fusion techniques.
• Experience with environmental and EMC qualification testing (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, -464).
• FAA Part 107 certification.
