Salary: $112,924 - $125,275 per year

What you will do

• Perform software requirements analysis, research, design, development, and testing of software tools.
• Conduct technical planning, verification, validation, and cost/risk analysis for total systems.
• Apply engineering standards and processes throughout the system development life cycle.
• Analyze customer design proposals and market trends to determine technical feasibility.
• Contribute to a technical culture of curiosity and user-centered design.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience (or Master's + 3 years).
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript using OOP techniques.
• Knowledge of Web Services (HTML, CSS, React, Redux).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML models.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience leading software teams using Agile methodologies.
