Salary: $156,000 – $234,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and implement core runtime services for secure, isolated agent execution.
- Build deterministic enforcement pathways for data, context, tool, and model boundaries.
- Define and evolve service interfaces and contracts across maincar and sidecar components.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and resilience for high-concurrency workloads.
- Develop deep observability into runtime behavior, policy decisions, and audit traces.
- Mentor engineers and participate in architecture reviews and operational hardening.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-8+ years in software development, with 3-6+ years specifically in backend or platform systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language (Java, Go, Rust, or Python).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong experience with distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
- Security: Experience building secure systems with least-privilege patterns and policy controls.
- Operational Excellence: Proven ability to operate production services with strong reliability and observability practices.
- Location: Must be based in the USA and able to maintain a hybrid presence in Boulder, CO.
