What you will do

• Research and catalogue works for Private Sales and Global Fine Art departments.
• Draft catalogue essays and maintain comprehensive property files including images and fact sheets.
• Collaborate on digital and print publication layouts and ensure color accuracy of lot images.
• Examine the condition of works and coordinate with third-party conservators for reports.
• Support exhibition preparation, installation, and business proposal processes.
• Manage authentication processes and handle mainline department requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field of study.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the art industry.
• General knowledge of Contemporary art history, artists, and market values.
• Impeccable organizational, writing, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work long hours, including late evenings and weekends during sale deadlines.
• Must be based in New York and able to work in a high-pressure, on-site environment.
