What you will do

• Conduct open source monitoring and research to support domestic and overseas investigative offices and protection details.
• Utilize specialized tools and advanced search techniques to identify potential threats.
• Create Boolean or other query-language algorithms to optimize collection in commercial and unclassified tools.
• Assess the accuracy, credibility, and relevance of incoming open source information.
• Communicate potential threats clearly and concisely to security and law enforcement personnel worldwide.
• Provide technical guidance for open source collection operations and support large-scale multi-national events.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance (Must have clearance to start).
• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in internet-based research and Boolean logic.
• Ability to write clear, concise summaries and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Knowledge of machine language translation methods.
• Availability for night shift work (6am-6:15pm, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of popular and fringe social media platforms.
• Completed Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) or advanced internet research training course.
