Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

What you will do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems within the CyberLife environment.
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions that meet rigorous performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure system stability.
- Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and process improvements.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience with IBM mainframe development including CICS, VSAM, and JCL.
- Proficiency in COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler.
- Deep expertise in Life & Annuity Policy Administration, specifically the CyberLife application.
Nice to have
- Understanding of VPMS, SCLM, and Repetitive Payment System (RPS).
- Experience with AI tools to accelerate development workflows.
- Knowledge of distributed technologies like AWS, Java, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
