What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems for telehealth operations.
• Manage third-party integrations and complex data workflows.

• Lead all phases of the development lifecycle from planning to post-launch maintenance.
• Ensure high standards for security, performance, and system architecture.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expertise in application architecture, API design, and data modeling.
• Proven experience building highly scalable and reliable systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience at growth-stage companies or migrating legacy systems to microservices.
• Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and Kafka.
• Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
