What you will do

• Design and build backend microservices for modules including Identity/RBAC/MFA, number search, purchase & porting, onboarding automation, and CDR/billing pipelines.
• Integrate with external carrier, telecom, and third-party APIs (Operator Connect, number/porting providers, ServiceNow, payment and billing systems).
• Implement event-driven flows and long-running workflows using Kafka and Temporal.
• Develop automated tests, participate in code reviews, and follow CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work with Frontend Engineers to define and maintain API contracts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong microservices architecture and API design skills (REST and GraphQL).
• Solid experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and schema/data modeling.
• Proven experience integrating third-party/external APIs.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven systems, including Kafka.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io; English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) and Node.js-related certifications.
• Experience with VoIP/telecom systems (SIP, signaling, voice infrastructure).
