What you will do

• Build and update Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex code under senior guidance.
• Configure and support Salesforce Flow (Screen Flows and Record-Triggered Flows).
• Maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, and permission sets for internal and external users.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track vehicle import activity for NHTSA program staff.
• Support integration touchpoints between Salesforce and AWS services (S3 and RDS/PostgreSQL).
• Conduct functional and regression testing, write test cases, and ensure 85% Apex code coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of Salesforce development or administration experience.
• Proficiency in writing Apex classes and SOQL queries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM fundamentals including objects, fields, and relationships.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required or actively in progress).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Vienna, VA, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud for external-facing portals.
• Prior experience working on federal or government projects.
• Salesforce Administrator certification.
