Staff Pharmacist (Medtech)

Compensation: CA$55 – CA$65 per hour

What you will do

• Perform drug utilization reviews, patient counseling, and regulated dispensing activities.
• Dispense prescriptions with high accuracy, ensuring proper interpretation and labeling.
• Direct pharmacy technician and assistant workflows and verify preparation of pharmaceuticals.
• Supervise support personnel to ensure efficiency and safety of daily pharmacy operations.
• Maintain PHI security and privacy in compliance with PHIPA and PIPEDA.
• Ensure adherence to OCP, NAPRA, and Health Canada regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Registered as a Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Strong knowledge of provincial and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in North York, ON.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and wear required PPE for handling hazardous drugs.

Nice to have

• Experience in mail-order or high-volume pharmacy settings.
• Knowledge of French.
