Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada (Onsite at Vancouver Campus with some Telehealth/Virtual components).
Salary: $272,302 – $340,377 per year.

What you will do
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, consultations, and ongoing monitoring for students.
- Provide individual and group counseling, medication management, and crisis intervention.
- Triage psychiatry referrals and manage the department waitlist.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health nurses to support student wellbeing.
- Assist in the development of clinical policies, procedures, and mental health programs.
- Act as a consultant for faculty and staff regarding students in crisis.
Requirements
- Must hold an accredited medical degree recognized in Canada.
- Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in psychiatry recognized by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (RCPC).
- Active member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice, inclusion, diversity, and health equity.
- Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR).
Nice to have
- Experience delivering care via Telehealth and Virtual Health platforms.
- 3+ years of practice experience in young adult psychiatry, preferably in higher education.
- Knowledge of student development theory and university policies.
